During season nine reunion of the Bravo hit, it was revealed that Phaedra Parks was the one who started a nasty rumor that Kandi and Todd Tucker had plans to drug Porsha Williams and take her to their ‘sex dungeon.’

Although the two are close now, the shocking accusation caused a serious rift in Porsha and Kandi’s friendship and put a fork in Burruss and Parks’ relationship altogether.

Hollywood Life reports that the attorney does regret her past actions but would like her frenemy to stop bringing it up.

A source told the publication: “Phaedra accepts full responsibility and understands why Kandi is still upset, though she wishes she wouldn’t be talking about it still. She feels it’s time for Kandi to move on and she’s said she’s sorry.”

“Phaedra loved being a part of the franchise, but she realized quickly that her accusations were costly and ultimately resulted in her not being asked back on the show. If given the opportunity, she would’ve done things differently,” the insider also revealed.

This comes after Burruss recounted the one time she ever considered leaving the franchise.

“There’s only been like one year that I had to kind of like question if [the show] is really worth it. Obviously it was that year when the whole craziness with Phaedra happened, you know,” Kandi explained.

The songwriter made it clear that she didn’t like the attack on her character when that rumor was spread.

The Old Lady Gang owner turned her lemons into lemonade when she flipped the negative situation around by throwing a ‘Welcome to the Dungeon’ party that’s going nationwide.
