This morning I woke up to learn that #JacobBlake an #unarmed #father, out with his children attempting to de-escalate a domestic dispute was senselessly #shot #pointblank range by the #police in front of his #children. WHEN DOES THIS END????’ Phaedra wrote.

She continued and said: ‘Apparently, no time soon from the steady #s. So when I #advocate for #black lives mattering rather than #alllivesmatter it’s because of THIS narrative, these atrocities that continue to happen to just BLACK people and not ALL people! So do NOT come with the BS rhetoric and contentious comments today because our community and our children are being traumatized daily due to seeing these countless videos and knowing the #police won’t be #indicted or held #accountable for #shooting and #killing a black person. Until you have the burden of worrying about will your #dad, #brother or #son be next STFU because your opinion does not count. #Pray for this family, these children and all black and brown #mothers whose hearts race every time their children leave home 🙏🏾😔💔’

A commenter said: ‘I live in Wisconsin. Just 40 miles north in Kewaskum, a white guy was running the park with a gun. Officers tried to de-escalate his situation for 2 hours. The man ended up killing himself. But for black males, the first response is to draw their gun and shoot to kill!’

One other follower said: ‘Over 100 people in just a few weeks shot in Chicago … but not one word out of your mouth about them?!!! Do you not care if African Americans shoot and kill each other… or is that the Police fault as well? Asking for 1 million people???’
