Fans of the popstar, Post Malone, expressed concern over the singer’s recent batch of performances in which his antics were over the top and somewhat bizarre. Videos featuring the rapper hit social media, in which he’s shown making funny grimaces and expressions, including rolling his eyes in the back of his head and rolling around on stage.
A few people online pointed out the rapper’s performance, stating that there must be something wrong with him, or perhaps he’s been taking a lot of drugs lately. On Friday, a person wrote on Twitter that Post Malone had been “acting weird” on stage in the last few weeks.
The user asked for their followers to spread the video. Another user shared a video showing Post Malone grasping a microphone with closed eyes. Speculative social media users also referenced much of the performer’s lyrics, which often allude to drug use.
While some users think that Post Malone isn’t doing well, other people pointed out that it appeared as though he was just putting on a dramatic and eccentric performance.

If a near-break-down was true, fans could argue that it may have something to do with stress. Last year, in May, the singer released his own marijuana business called Shaboink. TMZ was the first to report on the young star’s new business.
During a chat with reporters from GQ recently, Post Malone claimed he was great friends with Mac Miller, who died from an overdose two years ago shortly after breaking up with Ariana Grande. Additionally, a few months later in May, Malone shared his opinion on the death of Lil’ Peep, who died the year prior at age 21.
Speaking with Variety, Post Malone shared that he actually remembers when Lil’ Peep died, and how people online did a lot of “shaming.” The singer added that it’s hard to not get caught up in drug abuse if you’re going through something difficult, so people should have more compassion.
Currently, Post Malone has another show scheduled for Monday at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas.
