Prince Harry And Jon Bon Jovi Recreate The Beatles Abbey Road Album As Coronavirus Threatens The Invictus Games

Prince Harry teamed up with Jon Bon Jovi for this year’s Invictus Games  (an international charitable benefit Prince Harry created to support wounded veterans through competitive sports games) but now there is a looming threat. Scheduled to take place between May 9–16, 2020, at Zuiderpark (located in The Hague, Netherlands) Coronavirus is threatening the entire event.  Prince Harry and Jon Bon Jovi recorded a song called “Unbroken” and even recreated the Beatles’ historic album cover for Abbey Road with members of the Invictus Games Choir in support of the games, but now many are wondering if and when the games will be held. As one of the first strategies in preventing communal outbreaks is to avoid large, social gatherings, fears are great that the Invictus Games may be canceled this year.

Jon Bon Jovi joined Prince Harry at the legendary Abbey Road Studio, as reported by Todd Halm, where they spent the day recording the single “Unbroken” with the Invictus choir. The official Sussex Royal Instagram account shared a video clip from the recording session with their 11.2 million followers. You may see that video below.

Fans were thrilled to see the photo of Prince Harry, Jon Bon Jovi, and members of the Invictus Games Choir as they recreated the iconic Abbey Road cover. The photo has gone viral and was shared across multiple social media networks.

At this point, it is unclear what the future of this year’s Invictus Games will be. Everything right now is essentially a waiting game to see what happens with the Coronavirus outbreak. Some countries have started restricting travel which may also cause organizers to delay the games.
