According to a report from Vanity Fair, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have every intention to control the narrative surrounding their newborn child. Meghan and Prince Harry managed to keep news of the child’s birth quiet until about nine hours after she delivered their very first baby.
Earlier in the week, the Buckingham Palace revealed that Meghan had safely delivered the baby. When probed on details, the Palace declined to comment, admitting the information would be kept out of the public’s eye. As fans of the newlyweds know, Meghan and Harry have been great at keeping secrets.
For instance, the royal couple kept the news quiet for many days before it was finally allowed to get to the media. Moreover, they kept honeymoon details on the down-low as well.

Putting that aside, both Meghan and Harry are reportedly thrilled. In an interview, Harry appeared excited and even a little shocked. Harry stated he couldn’t be happier to finally be a father. On Wednesday, there will be a carefully staged photo in which the baby is shown to the rest of the world.
A source who spoke with Vanity Fair claims this is the first time they’re raising a child, so they’re more than careful when it comes to how the information of the child’s life gets out into the public. Unfortunately, media rumors get out of control sometimes, so they have no other option but to keep details private.
Moreover, the insider told the outlet that Harry and Meghan are going to give him an ordinary childhood, rather than one where the child lives in the spotlight every day. It was last year when Harry and Meghan officially tied the knot in a ceremony in the United Kingdom.
Months before, it was rumored they’d get married, mostly due to Meghan quitting Suits, the show on which she formerly starred. These days, the star has turned her attention to more philanthropic endeavors, such as charity and helping other people in need.
Sources claim Meghan has the personality of a caregiver and will be a “great mother.”
