Rumor has it that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle might once again choose their own path as a family unit and ignore royal tradition! That being said, reports say the expecting couple is planning to send their child to a private American, co-ed school in Egham, Surrey – ACS Egham International School!
The said school offers all students between the ages of 4 and 18, an American curriculum as opposed to a British one and it used to be known as the American Community School.
Conveniently enough, it is also just across Windsor Great Park, which is close to the royal pair’s future place of residence, Frogmore Cottage.
As you may know, both Harry and his older brother William went to a school for boys – Eton College.
Meanwhile, William and Kate’s son, George is also attending a British school, the difference being that it is co-ed.
One insider shared with E! News that Meghan and Harry want ‘a more diverse education for their child.’
‘Meghan is also keen for her child to be fully aware of his or her American heritage,’ which is why the plan is, supposedly, to send their firstborn to a school with an American curriculum.
The first insider report of this comes from The Sunday Times, that claimed Meghan and Harry mentioned it in some royal circles.
Furthermore, the same outlet also noted that the fashion designer who introduced Meghan and Harry, Misha Nonoo, attended ACS Egham’s sister school in Cobham, Surrey so maybe she recommended it to them!
What do you think about their alleged plan to send their child to an American school?
