Prince William Reportedly Has Thoughts On Meghan Markle And Prince Harry Keeping Archie ‘Out Of The Spotlight’

Prince William reportedly has some thoughts on how Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are working overtime to maintain baby Archie’s privacy.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are known for not keeping with royal tradition. They have been breaking the rules since the day they got engaged. Therefore, it is no surprise Prince Harry, and Markle decided to keep Archie’s christening a private affair.

A royal baby’s christening is usually a public affair with the godparent’s names being released to royal watchers. However, Archie’s parents have done the exact opposite. His day was private, intimate, and the godparents are still a secret. The only part of the day Prince Harry and Meghan have made public is the official family photo.

“The queen accepted Harry and Meghan’s decision to keep the event private, but Prince William and Duchess Kate weren’t happy about it,” a royal insider shared with US Weekly.

The Duke of Cambridge is disagreeing with a lot of his younger brother and sister-in-law’s actions concerning his nephew.

“William thinks his brother is going overboard keeping Archie out of the spotlight,” the insider claims and insists the future king of England is blaming Meghan for Prince Harry working overtime to maintain Archie’s privacy.

Despite not agreeing with the way the new parents are keeping Archie hidden from the world, Prince William and Kate Middleton did attend the christening. They also posed for the family portrait honoring the newest member of the Royal family. Granted they look completely uncomfortable in the picture with their forced smiles.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are certainly giving Archie a different kind of childhood than their nieces and nephews are experiencing. The intimate christening and decision to not have live-in staff at Frogmore Cottage are all part of the Duke, and Duchess of Sussex plan to give their son the “most normal” family environment.

William and Kate do not shield Prince George, Princess Charlette and Prince Louis from the spotlight. They do try though to give them some resemblance of a normal upbringing, royal style of course. There is a different kind of pressure on The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, after all, he is the future king, as is Prince George.

There have been rumors of a royal rift between the two brothers since Prince Harry married Meghan Markle. A royal split occurred then Prince Harry, and Meghan Markle chose to separate their home, as well as mental health charitable foundation, from Prince William and Kate Middleton.
