Princess Love Files For Divorce From Ray J After Nearly Four Years Of Marriage

Princess Love has decided it’s time to throw in the towel on her marriage with Ray J. The Love and Hip Hop: Hollywood star filed for divorce earlier this week after nearly four years of marriage.

According to TMZ, Princess filed the divorce documents on Tuesday, May 5, in Los Angeles County Superior Court after a months of relationship drama. As fans know, the couple had a blowout fight in Las Vegas last November that led to Princess posting a social media rant where she declared that she no longer wanted to be married to Ray J.

At the time, Princess was eight-and-a-half months pregnant, and she said that Ray J had left her “stranded” in Sin City with their one-year-old daughter Melody Love after the BET Awards when he left and got his own hotel room. She said that she didn’t feel comfortable driving back to Los Angeles because she was extremely pregnant, and she also accused Ray J of constantly threatening her with divorce.

“I don’t want to be married anymore, period,” she said. “I don’t have time for this. This is not love and I’m done.”

Princess even ended her rant with “It’s a divorce party, y’all.” But, just a few days later the couple appeared to be back together in Los Angeles, and she was posing for a pregnancy photo shoot.

In January, Princess gave birth to her and Ray J’s son, Epik Ray Norwood, but the couple had not reconciled. By February, Princess and Ray J were living separately. She stayed with the kids in their Beverly Hills condo while he stayed in a hotel 10 minutes away. And, according to Page Six, Princess was monitoring Ray J on Instagram before allowing him to see the kids.

Ray J tried to fix the relationship with a grand romantic gesture on Valentine’s Day. He filled their condo with thousands of roses for Princess and Melody, but it was too little, too late. Princess never put her wedding ring back on after their Las Vegas blowout, and she finally made the split official this week. Cameras have also spotted Ray J recently without his wedding ring.
