Priyanka Chopra Is Reportedly Upset Meghan Markle Missed Her Wedding To Nick Jonas And Wants An Apology From The Duchess

Priyanka Chopra was noticeably absent from Meghan Markle’s recent New York City girls’ trip, including her ultra-private baby shower. According to Page Six, there was an excellent reason for her absence, and it had nothing to do with work, which was previously reported.

The two ladies were once thick as thieves, with Chopra becoming super protective of her friend after news broke that she was dating Prince Harry. Now it seems the close friends are on the outs and it has everything to do with the Quantico star’s recent wedding to Nick Jonas. The Duchess of Sussex did not attend the wedding taking place in India because of her pregnancy.

“Priyanka was crushed. Their friendship is over unless Meghan apologizes. She feels Meghan didn’t respect her and didn’t respect their friendship,” a source close to both women shared with Page Six.

The same source has shared that since Markle was MIA at Chopra’s wedding, their friendship has suffered drastically. It is the rift between them that kept Mrs. Jonas from attending the Duchess’ baby shower alongside Serena Williams and Amal Clooney. Although she claimed to be “bogged down” with work in Los Angeles that may not be the real reason.

A rep for Chopra did not respond to the allegations of trouble between her and Markle. However, another source close to the Baywatch star claims any report of a strained friendship between the Duchess and actress is entirely inaccurate.

“There are no issues between the two women. They are friends, and anything you’re being told otherwise is inaccurate and untrue,” shared the source.

Priyanka Chopra not attending Meghan Markle’s baby shower was pretty shocking. Her absence could be a snub, or it could just be that she has a lot going on in her life. Chopra may not be married to a Royal, but she is married to a Jonas Brother, and their lives are quite busy as well.

It has been a while since these lovely ladies have been spotted together or even talked about the other one. Perhaps that is simply because life is getting in the way or maybe the friendship is on the rocks.
