Priyanka Chopra Showers Model Anok Yai With Praise Following New York Fashion Week

According to a report from Page Six, Priyanka Chopra, one of the biggest stars in the game, takes inspiration from a model to whom she recently gave vehement praise. The outlet claims that an insider saw that the Quantico alum laid her eyes on Anok Yai – an Egyptian-American model with South Sudanese ancestry – at a party following NYFW.
She has worked for the biggest companies in the world, including Alexander Wang, Prada, YSL, as well as Tom Ford. Chopra first saw Yai at a party for Vanity Fair’s Best-Dressed List.
Reportedly, the actress, who recently got married to Nick Jonas, rushed over to the model to praise her, stating that she’s “so beautiful,” and that Chopra was “obsessed.”

Yai was first discovered back in 2017 when she was just 21-years-old. The model-to-be posted a picture on Instagram of herself at Howard University’s homecoming, accruing the interest of several modeling companies.
Currently, she’s signed to Next Models and has worked with other big names in the industry, including Estee Lauder, Max Mara, Fendi, Prada, Versace, and YSL. Chopra, on the other hand, has an illustrious career to be proud of as well; the star is currently producing and starring in the upcoming production in October, The Sky is Pink.
Moreover, she’ll also star in The White Tiger from Netflix. As fans of the actress know, she’s a frequent and energetic advocate of women’s rights issues, including body positivity and feminism. Chopra is a close friend to Meghan Markle, as well, who married Prince Harry in the British Royal Family last year.
