Interestingly, what ties the two performers together is not only their past collabs but also Bieber’s manager, Scooter Braun, who is now Quavo’s as well. Scooter Braun has been in the headlines lately for his dealings with Taylor Swift, notably the fact that he bought out her masters from Big Machine Label Records after she left. It was one of the biggest controversies of the summer that year.

The incident led to a lot of bad publicity for Braun, but ultimately, the music industry executive still manages to make a lot of things happen for artists, including Bieber. Reportedly, Braun has worked for artists like Ariana Grande, Ashley Graham, Demi Lovato, and Usher for years.

Braun has worked with Justin alone for the last decade, helping to usher Justin into what has been the biggest years of his career. Reportedly, Braun is working with Quavo now and he just signed his name to his roster. This all comes aright around the same time as Migos’ new record, which is on its way out in the coming months.

According to Hot New Hip Hop, due to Scooter’s success in the industry, fans believe that Migos, and more specifically, Quavo, is going to blow up in a big way in the coming months.

Hypebeast also reported that this deal wouldn’t affect any of the obligations Quavo has with Migos as a band. As it was already noted above, Quavo worked with Justin on the track, “Intentions,” one of the first singles off of Justin’s latest record.

Even though Justin’s latest album was filled with features, it wasn’t as commercially successful as his last project, nor was it praised by critics as much as Purpose from 2016. Justin’s Purpose was arguably the biggest record of the year in 2015, spawning several big hit songs like “What Do You Mean?” “Purpose,” “Sorry,” and “Love Yourself,” among many others.
