Everyone knows about the backlash that R. Kelly received following the Surviving R. Kelly docu-series. To say that the man found himself in hot water these days is really an understatement considering how many celebrities have slammed the man showing him nothing but hate.

The Shade Room has more details on the subject, as it seems that his record label stops supporting the man as well.

‘A lot of people have spoken out against #RKelly since #SurvivingRKelly aired and now it sounds like his record label #RCA has finally responded to all the protest and backlash,’ TSR posted.

It seems that some sources told TMZ that RCA/Sony had put his new music ‘on ice, meaning the label will not release any additional music until the criminal investigations are resolved.’

As expected, R. Kelly is obviously upset because ‘he apparently has been in the studio recording new music to fulfill the obligations under his RCA contract, which required two new albums of him,’ notes TSR.

TSR’s followers are not showing him support either.

Someone commented ‘Everyone has known for years that he is a predator, why is this only now having repercussions, get him out of the public eye and put him in a cell with Bill Cosby and let them rot. 👏👏’

Another follower believes that ‘It’s about damn time. If all pans out in favor of the victims the last check he got from RCA might have been his last check.’

Someone else is wondering ‘What took them so long? He’s been creeping for a minute now and did NOTHING until 20 years later?’

It was also reported although R. Kelly’s songs used to be really popular choices for the contestants on talent shows such as American Idol and The Voice, this will no longer happen.
