Ramona Singer Is Refusing To Film RHONY Season 12 Until Her Salary Demands Are Met

Real Housewives of New York star Ramona Singer is an OG who has starred on the show for all eleven seasons. But, if Bravo wants her to be part of Season 12, they are going to have to show her the money.

Filming for Season 12 blew up in the first few hours when Bethenny Frankel announced she was leaving the show for a second time. And now, a new report claims that Singer is refusing to film until she gets a raise.

“She feels like she is an OG of the show and now with Bethenny gone, there is more money, so she went back to Bravo asking for more and is unhappy with her initial offers. She knows her worth and is holding her ground,” an insider told Hollywood Life.

Frankel reportedly earned $1.5 million last season, so if any of that money is really up for grabs, Singer wants her cut.

 It will be difficult enough for RHONY to move on without Frankel, but could it survive without Singer, too? After the SkinnyGirl mogul announced her exit, Singer said that Frankel didn’t tell her co-stars in advance, but she also said that the show is a machine, and it would move on just fine without her because everyone is replaceable.

Now, she is testing this theory by holding out on Bravo, and the insider says Singer is confident it will all work out just fine. The source explained that Singer would never walk away from the show because she loves being on RHONY and what it does for her. They added that Singer has already filmed a few scenes, but she hasn’t officially signed her contract. Until they work out the details, Singer is “living her best life in the Hamptons.”

Bravo has reportedly been scrambling to find a replacement for Frankel, and an eyewitness claimed late last month that Leah McSweeney was filming with Tinsley Mortimer in a New York hotel. The network has not yet confirmed McSweeney has joined the cast, and they also haven’t commented on Singer’s contract dispute.

New episodes of Real Housewives of New York will return to Bravo in the spring of 2020.
