RHOBH: Denise Richards Breaks Down As She Recounts Charlie Sheen Divorce Drama

There is never a shortage of drama and tears on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. The most recent episode featuring Denise Richards recounting the drama surrounding her divorce from Charlie Sheen was no exception.

She may be happily married to Aaron Phypers, but the fallout from her turbulent relationship with Sheen is never-ending. The drama is still on her mind, as she worries continuously about the impact her and Sheen’s disastrous relationship had on their two girls.

Richards reflected on that part of her life on last night’s episode of RHOBH.

“It’s surreal when you start to see your kids become adults. It makes me cry. I just feel like I f–ked up a lot with their dad. I don’t want them to look back at their childhood and remember arguments,” the actress tearfully explained.

The former couple was only married for four years. Richards shocked the world when she announced she was filing for divorce, while pregnant with their youngest daughter Lola, age 13. They embarked on a nasty divorce that included a bitter custody battle over Lola and her older sister Sam, age 15.

After years of battling it out, Sheen and Richards finally decided to put their differences aside and cooperant their daughters. However, the mother of three, she adopted 7-year-old daughter Eloise as a single parent, remains worried about how the divorce drama impacted their girls.

“My girls have been through a lot. How I chose to relate to the dysfunction that was going on with their father was to hide it from the kids. I don’t know if I did a disservice or not. It just made me realize how fast it goes. Life is so short, and their childhood is so short,” the 48-year-old shared.

One thing the RHOBH star has figured out through all the drama is that she needs to include Sheen in any event involving the girls. Richards even went as far as to invite the Two And A Half Men actor to her wedding to Phypers last fall. He didn’t show, but at least she is making an effort for her kids’ sake.

Denise Richards is reflecting on all the divorce drama involving her and ex-husband Charlie Sheen. Although she is always worried about their daughters, one person is in her corner supporting her choices during that time.

Richards new hubby, Aaron Phypers reminds her she protected her babies from a lot back then. Like any other parent, Richards did the best she could in a crazy situation.
