RHOBH Teddi Mellencamp Reveals What Is At The Root Of Her Feud With Lisa Vanderpump

After the Season 9 premiere of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, star Teddi Mellencamp took to her Bravo blog to give fans a detailed play-by-play about what went down on the episode and to share her thoughts about the rest of the RHOBH cast. The 37-year-old told fans to “pay attention” because she had a lot to share.

Mellencamp started off by writing how much she loves Denise Richards, calling her a “#winning addition” to the cast. And, now that she is in her second season, Mellencamp revealed that she has bonded with the women since last season wrapped, the only exception being her rival Dorit Kemsley. And, she says her new bestie is Kyle Richards.

I know LVP is not perfect or saint, but when most of the cast posts about LVP, and she remains silent, I putting my stock in LVP.

“My friendship with Kyle has continued to grow from last season, and I consider her one of my best friends,” Mellencamp explained. “It’s such an easy, understanding friendship that revolves around laughing and having a good time. And workouts. Lots of workouts.”

Mellencamp wrote that she chatted with Lisa Vanderpump at various events, rocked out at Coachella with Lisa Rinna, and enjoys a bottle of Boone’s Farm with Erika Jayne.

John Mellencamp’s daughter really went into detail about Kemsley and the infamous “puppygate” scandal that was the catalyst of a rift between Vanderpump and the rest of the cast. Teddi says that she was “initially irritated” when she found out that Kemsley’s dog Lucy – a dog that she had adopted from Vanderpump Dogs – found its way to a shelter after Lucy nipped at Dorit’s kids.

Teddi explained the timeline of events, making it clear that what went down in the premiere happened before the story was leaked to the press. At the time, only LVP and her husband Ken, Dorit and her husband PK, Teddi, and the employees at Vanderpump Dogs knew what was happening.

According to Teddi, Lisa told Dorit that Teddi was good friends with Vanderpump Dogs Event Coordinator John Blizzard. But, Teddi says that is an exaggeration, and she and Blizzard are simply acquaintances.

Teddi suspects that maybe LVP did that to set her up to take the fall for the puppygate press leak. She also thinks that Vanderpump set up the entire scene at Vanderpump Dogs – when Lucy came out, and everyone was mad about it – because Vanderpump said she didn’t want to talk about it with Dorit, but did anyway.

Teddi Mellencamp’s argument is that LVP says something, and then does the opposite, and she believes the restaurateur should take responsibility for her actions instead of lying to create a storyline.
