RHOC - Braunwyn Windham Burke Supports Her Son Jacob's Interest In Drag With Stunning Photo

Real Housewives of Orange County star Braunwyn Windham-Burke is a proud mom of the seven kids she shares with husband Sean. And, over the Fourth of July holiday weekend, Windham-Burke posted a special message of love and support for her oldest son Jacob, who has recently shown an interest in drag.

In addition to 15-year-old Jacob, Braunwyn and Sean are also the parents of daughters Bella, 19, Rowan, 17, Koa, 4, and Hazel, 2. They are also the parents of six-year-old twin boys Curren and Caden.

Braunwyn chose to spotlight her love and support for Jacob on the 4th of July by posting a stunning photo a few months after he told his mom that he decided to give “the world of drag a try.”

The extreme close-up photo featured half of Braunwyn’s face and half of Jacob’s face as they posed side-by-side. The pic showed off the mom and son’s blue eyes, while Jacob wore glittery blue eye makeup.

“In a world where you can be anything, be yourself. So honored to be your mother. @jacobwindhamburke,” wrote the RHOC star in the caption along with the hashtags #MotherandSon, #Proud Mom, #BlueEyes, and #Generations.

Then on Monday, Braunwyn celebrated Jacob’s 15th birthday with an Instagram post that featured a series of pictures, including some of Jacob in drag. In the caption, Braunwyn called Jacob her “beautiful boy,” and she added that his strength and beauty “shine from the inside.”

Since Jacob first showed his interest in drag earlier this year, Braunwyn and Sean have been showing their support for their son by participating in fundraisers that benefit the LGBTQ community. In February, the couple attended a fundraiser for the San Diego LGBT Community Center, and in the caption of an Instagram post Braunwyn wrote that she and Sean were supporting their kid and the community.

Braunwyn Windham-Burke told Bravo’s Daily Dish in April that Jacob’s experience with drag has taken him out of his “funk,” which he had been in for a while. The Real Housewives of Orange County star says that for a while her oldest son was “depressed and just sad,” but drag has made Jacob “activated and alive.”
