RHOC Emily Simpson Updates Fans On Her Odd Marriage To Husband Shane

Real Housewives of Orange County star Emily Simpson is opening up about her odd marriage to Shane Simpson. The couple recently celebrated their 10th anniversary, and Emily assured fans that Shane is a much different person than how he sometimes appears on the show.

Emily’s relationship with Shane started in an unconventional way. Shane popped the big question over Google’s instant messaging system, GChat, and did so without an engagement ring. In fact, he still hasn’t given Emily an engagement ring, despite being together for the past decade.

“We got married so quickly, the only thing I have is a band,” Emily explained. “I don’t have an actual engagement ring. I just have a band, but it’s been 10 years. Maybe I could get one!”

Apart from the strange engagement ring situation, Emily and Shane have gone through struggles in their marriage. The two experienced their most difficult times early on after attempting to start a family. But through all the drama, the two have remained supportive of each other and Emily could not be happier about their relationship.

According to Bravo TV, fans have criticized Shane because of the way he acted during his first season on the show. Although he has done some questionable things, Emily assured fans that he is an amazing father and is always an active part in his children’s lives.

The RHOC star also revealed that she never expected her husband to take center stage and hopes that people get to see the better side of him in future seasons.

Filming for the upcoming season of the Real Housewives of Orange County is currently underway. Emily Simpson is expected to return to the show, so there is a strong possibility that we will see more of Matt in Season 14. If he does appear in front of the cameras, there is also little doubt that he’ll continue to ruffle some feathers, which is not always a bad thing.

Bravo has not revealed when the new season of RHOC will premiere, but the show is expected to return sometime this summer.
