RHOC: Gina Kirschenheiter Divorce From Husband Matthew Back On Following His Violent Behavior Led To Arrest

The Real Housewives of Orange County star Gina Kirschenheiter is no longer considering getting back together with her estranged husband, Matthew following his recent violent behavior.

Days after Matthew was taken into police custody for domestic violence, Gina is revealing details of his alleged abuse.

She is seeking a restraining order for her family’s protection. US Weekly obtained court documents with specific information regarding the abuse Gina has endured with her angry husband.

The incident that pushed Gina over the limit occurred earlier this week. In the wee hours of Sunday morning, Matthew flew into a rage after he forgot his keys and banged on her front door for an hour. When she did not answer, he found a way to break in.

“He threw me on the couch and threw some of the furniture around. I was scared and tried to get up, but he threw me down on the couch again. He was so angry; he was profusely sweating from head to toe. I was terrified. Matthew] was screaming in my face saying he was going to f–king kill me. He ripped my bra strap off, then took a pillow and hit me on the side of the head with it hard. My ears rang. I begged him to stop to calm down, but he kept hitting me,” Gina exclaimed in the paperwork.

The 35-year-old begged and pleaded with her husband to stop, especially since their children were in the house. Matthew and Gina are parent’s daughter Sienna, age 5, as well as sons Nicholas age 7 and Luca age 3. She managed to call the police, and Matthew was taken into custody but was not formally charged with domestic violence.

In the request for a restraining order, Gina admitted this is not the first time her husband has gotten violent with her.

“I locked myself in my bedroom. He began yelling at me through the door, saying, ‘Let me in! I need something from the closet!’ He eventually broke through the door and went straight to my closet. I could hear him playing with his shotgun,” she recalled of the time they were separated but in the middle of a “nesting arrangement” for custody purposes.

A couple of weeks ago, Gina Kirschenheiter called estranged husband Matthew her “person” on social media leading fans to believe the coupe was reconciling. The post has been removed from her Instagram feed.

Today the RHOC star says the divorce back as she fights to protect her children from Matthew’s abusive behavior.
