RHOC - Meghan King Edmonds Demands Extra Cash From Jim Edmonds Amid Their Nasty Divorce, And In Return Promises To Do This

Former Real Housewives of Orange County star Meghan King Edmonds is in the middle of a nasty divorce. And, she has reportedly requested that her estranged husband, St. Louis Cardinals hall-of-famer Jim Edmonds, pay her an extra $1 million in their settlement in exchange for her signing a non-disclosure agreement.

According to The Blast, Meghan and Jim went to court for mediation late last month; and, during the session, a mediator attempted to hash out the former couple’s issues with the help of their respective attorneys.

The meeting with a mediator was an attempt to avoid taking their case to trial and having a judge decide on the division of assets and the final terms of a divorce agreement. However, insiders say that Meghan and Jim were not able to accomplish much during the meeting, and their divorce is ongoing.

Jim filed for divorce from Meghan last October just days after the couple celebrated their fifth wedding anniversary. The surprise split happened after Meghan accused Jim of cheating with one of their nannies. Jim and Meghan share three children together: Aspen, 4, and twins Hart and Hayes, 2.

Meghan did sign a prenup, and made a big deal about it in front of Bravo cameras when she was an RHOC cast member. Meghan starred on the Bravo show beginning in 2015 and was a regular during Seasons 10 through 12. However, she is now supposedly contesting the prenup and demanding a lump sum payment from Jim that would be 10 times more than what they agreed to before they tied the knot.

During the mediation, Meghan reportedly demanded the extra million from Jim and promised to keep quiet about their marriage. She allegedly revealed during the negotiations that she was considering writing a tell-all memoir that would include details about their relationship.

Since their split, Meghan King Edmonds moved back to Southern California and has started dating businessman Christian Schauf. However, sources claim that she recently moved out of her LA rental and is staying at Jim Edmonds’ home in St. Louis.

Jim is reportedly paying Meghan three times the amount of child support that the court ordered. And, he has moved on to a new relationship with girlfriend, Kortnie O’Connor.
