Real Housewives of New Jersey star Danielle Staub kicked her estranged husband, Marty Caffrey, out of their home this week. Police officers in Englewood, New Jersey arrived at the couple’s house over a domestic disturbance call on Thursday. The cops did not arrest Caffrey, but they did remove him from the premises.

The incident happened a day after Staub requested a protective order against Caffrey, whom she is living with while they work out the details of their ugly divorce.

According to TMZ, Caffrey has not physically abused Staub in any way but has been tormenting her emotionally. The RHONJ star also believes he has been “toying” with her while they settle the divorce.

Inside sources claim that Caffrey has been doing little things to annoy Staub, like turning off the power and hot water and loosening lights around the house.

Caffrey could live somewhere else until they finalize the divorce, but he insists on staying in their house. Staub suspects that Caffrey is delaying the divorce proceedings because he has rejected all of her settlement offers.

For his part, Caffrey denies messing with Staub but admitted that he got a copy of the protective order. But instead of obeying the law, Caffrey blew it off because he thought it was crazy.

He also claims to have little to no contact with Staub, despite living in the same house as her.

“There has no been interaction between the two of us. We’re living in the same house but we’re avoiding each other,” Caffrey shared.

The protective order will keep Caffrey away from Staub, but it is temporary and only lasts for 10 days.

Staub and Caffrey exchanged vows in May of last year. Their wedding was featured on an episode of RHONJ. In August, Staub filed an order of protection out of fear for her safety.

The reality star accused Caffrey of abuse, which he vehemently denied.

Danielle Staub eventually dropped the protective order and Marty Caffrey promptly filed divorce papers a month later.
