RHONY - 55-Year-Old Luann De Lesseps Shares Her Skincare Routine Because Everyone Keeps Telling Her She Looks 'So Young'

Real Housewives of New York star Luann de Lesseps says that everyone is always asking her about her skincare routine because she looks “so young.” This prompted the 55-year-old to share her skincare secrets in a new Instagram post, which included an announcement that she has a new partnership with Sonäge Skin Care.

De Lesseps posted the new commercial that she starred in for Sonäge, which featured the Countess wearing a white summer dress and lounging around a lake in her bare feet.

In the caption she wrote: “Everyone’s always asking me about my skincare routine … because they tell me I look so young 😉 Thank you! Which is why I am so excited to share with you my skincare secrets & partnership with @sonageskincare ! (derived from the French expression, “Bien porter son âge,” To look good for one’s age).”

The Bravolebrity says that the brand represents everything she looks for when it comes to her skincare routine. De Lesseps explained that both she and Sonäge advocate a holistic lifestyle and changing the way we treat our bodies to feel good.

De Lesseps says the products are 100 percent natural, and they are her go-to products that she is sure people will love.

In a second paid partnership post, De Lesseps posted a pic of herself using one of the products while looking into a bathroom mirror. In the caption, she wrote a Snow White inspired poem that read: “Oh mirror on the wall, Who’s the fairest in the land, I guess it’s not his call.”

While promoting her new brand partnership, de Lesseps told Us Weekly that she decided not to drink alcohol during the COVID-19 pandemic. While in quarantine, de Lesseps says she is glad she doesn’t have to deal with drinking.

“I feel like if I was drinking during quarantine, I’d be drinking a lot,” said the Connecticut native.

As RHONY fans know, de Lesseps has had her share of problems when it comes to sobriety. After police arrested her in December 2017 for drunk and disorderly conduct, de Lesseps served a one-year sentence on probation that required her to stay sober. She also went to rehab twice.

De Lesseps eventually completed her probation in August 2019, and numerous insiders claimed earlier this year that the Countess and Friends star was drinking again. She explained that filming RHONY didn’t help her stay sober.

“You know, it’s just — I wouldn’t say pressure. You just feel like you’re kind of, non-included, you kind of feel like, you know, you’re out of the group somehow,” she told Us Weekly. “And so I thought, you know what, I’m going to drink.”

Luann de Lesseps says that she made the decision to drink while working on RHONY, and she was “diligent,” “careful,” and “responsible.”
