“RHOP” Star Robyn Dixon Says The Fight Between Monique Samuels and Candiace Dillard Was “Very Disappointing”

‘My Mind Was Just Blown,’ said “RHOP” Star Robyn Dixon about the moment when Monique Samuels and Candiace Dillard got physical in the Season 5 of The Real Housewives of Potomac. Although the drama was heating up the screens, Robyn Dixon said that the fight was “very disappointing.”

In the trailer for the 5^th season of “RHOP“, we were able to see the altercation between Candiace and Monique, and the other Potomac housewives were as shocked as us. Robyn Dixon talked to US Weekly on the “Getting Real with the Housewives” podcast and recalled that fight.

“When this fight happened, my mind was just so blown and confused. I’m like, ‘Why is this happening?’”

Robyn was very sad her friends started fighting each other. “It definitely was a very disappointing thing to experience and to see,” she said, adding that “you never want to see your friends get into a physical fight like that.”

The fighting scene will air later on in the season, but the outlet revealed that it all happened at a dinner last fall in October. It seems Candiace Dillard was pulled by the hair by Monique Samuels.

The incident ended with a complaint, and the two ladies were charged with second-degree assault. The charges were dropped but the case was still open and the two housewives nearly faced jail time.

“Everyone has a different perspective on it. It’ll be interesting to see and to watch. That’s a big part of the season as well — the fallout from it,” said Robyn, concluding that “I understand people are excited. They’re intrigued.”

Karen Huger also expressed her feelings about the fight between the two RHOP stars, saying that “for me personally that it was very painful.” You will be able to see the next episode of The Real Housewives of Potomac on Bravo Sundays at 9 p.m. ET.
