Ashley Darby has wanted to be a mother for all of her life. After two heartbreaking miscarriages, the Real Housewives of Potomac star finally welcomed her rainbow baby with husband Michael Darby.

Yesterday Ashley hinted that she was waiting for the arrival of her baby boy when she shared a photo from the hospital. Just hours later, she returned with a heartwarming post.

‘I never thought this day would come. When I learned I was pregnant, I started thinking about when I’d feel the first kicks. Then, when I was feeling the flutters, I wanted to know when I’d finally start to show. After watching the bump grow, my mind went to birthing day (WILL THIS REALLY HAPPEN?!) And when the day finally came that this sweet child came into our world, it felt like the sunniest day after a sky filled grey. The most sensational day of our shared life. She was congratulated by friends and co-stars.

Robyn Dixon, who Ashley is currently feuding with on the latest episodes of ‘RHOP,’ wrote: ‘Yayyyyy!!!! I know tonight’s episode was a rough one but I’m truly happy for you!!! Nothing else in the world matters now.’

Ashley and Michael’s marriage is stronger than ever after the two faced heartbreak when the 31-year-old lost her pregnancy. After the miscarriage, the Darby’s went to see a Chinese medicine doctor who gave her advice on how to conceive and carry a healthy child.
