This past summer, Rob Delaney and his life partner Leah added a fourth addition to their family! The Catastrophe actor revealed in a brand new interview with The Sunday Times Magazine that his wife gave birth to a baby boy back in August.

Furthermore, the son was born only months after they lost another child, Henry, to brain cancer!

The boy was only two and a half years old when he, unfortunately, lost the fight in January.

The following month, the man took to his Facebook account to announce Henry’s tragic passing, writing: ‘Henry had been diagnosed with a brain tumor in 2016 following extreme vomiting and weight loss. He then had surgery to remove his tumor and received further treatment through the beginning of 2017. Then the cancer returned last fall, and he died in January.’

Even though the two young ones never met, Henry was the first to learn about the pregnancy from his parents, so it is almost like they have a special bond.

Still, Delaney made it very clear while chatting with the publication that the new addition to the family can never ease the pain of losing Henry.

That is not to say his passing makes the birth of their ‘new son any less magical. I want to gobble him up, and he deserves our full attention and love, and he grew in the same womb as Henry.’

The parents of four shared the big news that they would be bringing another baby to the world back in June and it looks like only two months later, Leah gave birth to their youngest son. Congratulations!
