Ronnie Ortiz-Magro Charged With 5 Misdemeanors In Domestic Violence Case – How Much Jail Time Is He Facing?

Ronnie Ortiz-Magro has been charged with five misdemeanors in the domestic violence case involving his baby mama Jen Harley.

The Jersey Shore: Family Vacation star has managed to avoid any felony charges. His legal problems are far from over though.

Ronnie has been charged with one count of domestic violence, one count of brandishing a deadly weapon, one count of willful child endangerment, one count of resisting arrest and one count of criminal threats.

Scott E. Leemon, the reality TV star’s lawyer, released a statement shortly after the official charges were filed against his client.

“The facts and circumstances around Ronnie’s arrest have been misreported and exaggerated like we mentioned in the past. We are happy the District Attorney’s refused to file any charges and we look forward to addressing this matter with City Attorney; until then, we will make no further comment,” Leemon said to Us Weekly.

If Ronnie is convicted on any of the misdemeanors, he could face up to one year in prison per charge. Therefore, the maximum amount of prison time he could do is five years. It seems unlikely he will spend any time in jail.

Leemon did not express the next steps in the process of ending the legal trouble from Ronnie. The Los Angeles City Attorney’s office could very well agree to a plea deal. It depends on evidence, as well as if Jen is going to testify or make a statement against her baby daddy.

Jen and Ronnie have had a rocky romance since they got together in 2017. They attempted to make the relationship work a few times after their daughter, Ariana was born in April 2018.

Their continual fighting, which has often turned violent several times, has played out on the MTV show. Ronnie has defended their romance several times to his Jersey Shore cast members.

After the latest altercation, the couple has reportedly broken up for good. They are famous for breaking up and getting back together. Only time will tell if they are officially over or not.
