According to a report from MSN.com and The Hollywood Reporter, Roseanne Barr delivered her wrath against Natalie Portman and simultaneously defended Kevin Hart amid reports of her upcoming visit to Israel. Published on Friday, an interview from the newspaper, Israel Hayom featured Barr criticizing Portman who declined to participate in an award ceremony last year.
The star said she refused to appear at the event due to the fact Benjamin Netanyahu would be there and also giving a speech. During the conversation with reporters, Roseanne said she finds Natalie “repulsive,” pointing to her incredible “privilege of safety in the Jewish state.”
Roseanne said Natalie knows literally nothing about anti-semitism. She’s the “darling of the left here, the Jewish left in Hollywood,” the comedienne remarked.
Born in Jerusalem, Natalie emigrated to the United States with her mother and father when she was just 3-years-old, before going on to becoming one of the biggest child stars. In addition to talking about Portman, Barr also gave her thoughts on Mr. Hart as well, who said ‘no’ to Oscars officials following the homophobic tweet scandal.

Roseanne criticized the way in which media outlets and other individuals have been digging up things from 15 to 20 years in an attempt to discredit others and publicly shame them. She said it was all quite unfair because his comments were nearly a decade old, and people grow and change.
The star also acknowledged her former TV husband, John Goodman, who was on Late Night With Seth Meyers last week, where he said that he really “missed her this year” while filming the Roseanne spin-off, The Conners.
Roseanne said it was very “sweet of him” to say something like that, but John should’ve “fought harder” for her, the star said. She went on to say that if you do fight and stand up for someone, then you’re next, and that’s the reason why no one does it anymore in Hollywood.
Speaking on those who run the entertainment industry, Roseanne said it’s “run by people without a lot of ethics,” and also explained that Hollywood is comprised of a “culture of fear” in which no one can truly say and feel what they believe.
