Nothing compares to Sinead O’Connor, except for maybe model Ruth Bell! Ruth (who is half of the Bell sisters, May being her identical twin and fellow model) shared several new photos on her official Instagram account where she bore a striking resemblance to Irish Grammy-winning singer Sinead O’Connor. Ruth is known for keeping her hair in a pixie or buzz cut while her sister May wears her blonder hair long and tumbling past her shoulders but it was more than the similar hairstyles that caused the similarities.

Ruth was decked out in full makeup and wore a solo, drop cross earring that gave off serious nineties’ vibes. People were doing double takes as it appeared Ruth had shared a photo of Sinead by mistake! Ruth and May are two of the most popular models and though they are identical twins, their differences are obvious —their hair is primary.

Sinead O’Connor was one of the biggest singers in the early 90s until her activism drew outrage. Born and raised in Ireland, Sinead challenged the Catholic church for covering up child sexual abuse, long before it became an everyday topic. She was banned for life from Saturday Night Live (SNL) after tearing up a photo of the Pope during a performance of Bob Marley’s “War.”
