Salma Hayek Gets Candid About Her Husband François-Henri Pinault And Their Very Private Marriage

Salma Hayek and François-Henri Pinault have been married for no less than ten years but it is safe to say that the public knows nearly nothing about their romance. The two really like their privacy, which is why her opening at least a little bit about the private marriage is a big deal.

Still, when asked how they met, the actress preferred to not give anything away except for the fact that ‘It’s such a romantic, amazing story.’

In her interview for Town and Country magazine’s April issue, she went on to explain: ‘But it [the love story] is mine. I don’t want to vulgarize it by making it into a story to make myself interesting.’

The French businessman and the Hollywood star are definitely public personalities, but for the past ten years, their relationship has remained anything but!

What it is known, however, is that they were linked together when Salma was 39 years old.

At 41, the happy couple welcomed daughter Valentina, who is now 11.

‘I think I am a better mother because I had her later. But, I do get tired. I’m not going to lie,’ the proud mom shared with the news outlet, adding that the young one is ‘very creative, very smart, very funny, and very willful.’

Salma had only positive things to say about her life partner, calling Pinault ‘the best husband in the world. I get to be who I am with him, and I don’t feel that somebody tries to limit me.’

The celeb then discussed how shocked people were when they learned about her marrying a man like him.

‘And some people are even intimidated now by me. But it’s another way of showing racism. They can’t believe this Mexican ended up in the life that she has, and they’re uncomfortable around me,’ she dished.
