Sandra Bullock Donates 6,000 N95 Respirator Masks To LA Hospital

Sandra Bullock recently revealed her part in the battle against COVID-19. Fox News claims the actress donated 6,000 N95 masks to healthcare workers in the Los Angeles area.

Bryan Rendall, her boyfriend, posted a photo in which Bullock was standing near an employee at the Children’s Hospital in LA while Bryan was carrying several boxes assumably filled with the masks.

People Magazine also reported that Randall thanked Bullock’s two kids, Laila and Louis – 8 and 10 respectively – who thought of the idea to provide hospitals with N95 respirators. Randall wrote in the caption that “kids wanted to give masks,” and so they packed 6,000 of them and sent them downtown Los Angeles.

How Sandra got her hands on the coveted masks hasn’t been answered yet. Regardless of where she got them from, healthcare workers appeared happy due to the short supply. Followers of Trump’s press conferences know that N95 masks are mentioned regularly.

Regarding Bullock and Randall, they first started dating in 2015 but have been very private about their relationship thus far. Sandra joined a list of other celebrities who have contributed to the coronavirus relief efforts in some way.

Bethenny Frankel, the reality star, used her foundation to give $15 million in the fight against COVID-19. Tyler Perry, on the other hand, paid for the groceries of many shoppers at a store in Atlanta, Georgia.

George and Amal Clooney donated $1 million to charity as well, part of it sent to the SAG-AFTRA fund and other organizations, like the Lebanese Food Bank. Even though a lot of influential people have stepped up, the numbers can still look frightening.

The last two days saw several grim updates in the United States and Canada, however, there have been signs of improvements over the last few weeks, including in New York City who recently revealed their cases appeared to be slowing.

At the moment, the United States’ total death toll sits at 16,686 deaths and the world has over one million cases.
