Sandra Oh stunned in red as she walked the Screen Actors’ Guild Awards (SAG Awards) silver carpet Sunday. The Grey’s Anatomy alumna has been on a winning whirlwind award circuit as she has been honored for her role in Killing Eve. In addition to winning outstanding performance by a female actor in a drama series, Oh has won the Golden Globe, Critics’ Choice Award, and the GALECA (Dorian Award). Sunday night, it wasn’t just her performance as Eve Polastri that won rave reviews; it was her fashion as well.

Sandra Oh wore a gorgeous, scarlet red gown by Jenny Packham and wore her hair up with curly, fringe bangs. The hairstyle accentuated a pair of long, dangling Atelier Swarovski diamond earrings. The sparkle added the perfect amount of pizazz without overdoing it. It was the SAG Awards 25th anniversary and they rolled out a silver carpet instead of red. Oh’s outfit was a perfect choice and she was a sight to behold when she made her arrival.

Though Sandra Oh looked dazzling, it was her performance in Killing Eve that took center stage as she received her award. She competed against Julia Garner and Laura Linney from Ozark, Elisabeth Moss from The Handmaid’s Tale, and Robin Wright from House of Cards.

You may hear her full acceptance speech in the video player below.

Sandra Oh thanked several actors and actresses for their support throughout her career. Two of these were Alfre Woodard and Jamie Foxx.

Oh stated the following.

“And I just so want to thank my fellow actors. I have felt your support so tremendously for the past years. I want to thank Alfre Woodard — wait. In 1997 — she’s never going to remember this — in 1997, she whispered in my ear, “I’m so proud of you out there. We fight the same fight.” Jamie Foxx, in 2006, pulled me aside and he said, “Keep going.”

Sandra Oh is a groundbreaking actress who is paving the way for Asians. Born to Korean parents in Canada, this has been a powerful year for Asians in Hollywood and television.

The movie Crazy Rich Asians has been a critical and commercial success and Killing Eve is paving new ground for Sandra Oh and those who follow in her footsteps.
