'Saturday Night Live' To End Season 44 With Adam Sandler, Shawn Mendes, Emma Thompson, And Paul Rudd

Saturday Night Live (SNL) will soon bring its 44th season to a close and they are going out in style. NBC will host back-to-back episodes featuring major talent as the season ends in May. Adam Sandler, Emma Thompson, and Paul Rudd will serve as the show’s final hosts and there will be some amazing musical talent as well.
Saturday Night Live former cast member and comedian Adam Sandler will return to the state to host on May 4, 2019. Adam Sandler has the movie Murder Mystery with Jennifer Aniston, Gemma Arterton, Luke Evans, and John Kani premiering on June 12, 2019.
The musical guest performing on May 4, 2019, will be Shawn Mendes. Mendes recently made news for speaking out against the bullying he’s received from those who question his sexuality. He also penned a special tribute for Taylor Swift as she made Time magazine’s 100 list of most influential people.
Fans were elated that both Adam Sandler and Shawn Mendes would return to the show.
On May 11, Emma Thompson will host with musical guest the Jonas Brothers followed by Paul Rudd on May 18. DJ Khaled will make his debut appearance on Saturday Night Live.

Emma Thompson celebrated her sixtieth birthday on April 15, 2019, and the actress, writer, and producer has shown no signs of slowing down. Emma Thompson voices the character of The Elder in the animated movie Missing Link that was released on April 12, 2019.
Thompson also stars in the movie Late Night that is coming to theaters on June 7, 2019. With a screenplay written by Mindy Kaling, Thompson plays late night show host Katherine Newbury who is in fear that she is losing her show.
Also starring in the movie are John Lithgow, Halston Sage, Reid Scott, Hugh Dancy, and Ike Barinholtz. Thompson also plays Agent O in the upcoming Men In Black: International that is set for a June 14, 2019, release.
Jonas Brothers fans went crazy at the news the band would perform as the musical guest for Saturday Night Live, May 11, 2019.
Paul Rudd will close out the season on May 18, 2019, with musical guest DJ Khaled. Rudd celebrated his fiftieth birthday on April 6, 2019, and is currently enjoying tremendous success as Marvel’s Ant Man/Scott Lang.
Rudd will appear in the long-awaited Avengers: Endgame that opens in theaters on April 26, 2019. Rudd will host Saturday Night Live fresh after Avengers: Endgame is released making his appearance one of the most anticipated by fans.
DJ Khaled will bring his musical talents to Saturday Night Live for the first time and fans couldn’t be more thrilled.
