Longtime Fox News host Sean Hannity secretly divorced his wife, Jill Rhodes, after more than 20 years of marriage, according to a new report. An insider says that the former couple actually separated a few years ago and have been divorced for more than a year, but they chose to keep the split quiet.
According to Page Six, rumors of their split started to swirl just before the COVID-19 pandemic because Hannity was no longer bringing Rhodes to various Fox News events. When the outlet reached out to Hannity for a comment, he and Rhodes issued a joint statement.

“Sean and Jill are committed to working together for the best interests of their children. Amicable agreements were entered into over four years ago between Sean and Jill,” read the statement. “They maintain a close relationship as parents to their children. Neither will have any further comments and ask for the sake of their children that their privacy be respected.”
Hannity and Rhodes tied the knot in 1993 and they share two children – Patrick and Merri Kelly. A friend of the former couple says that the split is “very amicable” and Hannity and Rhodes are still on “very good terms.”
Despite the divorce, Hannity and Rhodes still enjoy family dinners with their kids and they show up together to support their children at different events, like tennis tournaments. Hannity has also remained close to Rhodes’ family.

The reason for the split appears to be the fact that Hannity is a “workaholic,” according to a friend. Not only does he host his nightly self-titled show on Fox News, but he also hosts a daily three-hour syndicated radio show titled The Sean Hannity Show. The friend added that the divorce was not the result of an affair or any kind of infidelity.
In the past Sean Hannity credited Jill Rhodes – a former journalist – of being the brains behind his success in the conservative media. In addition to his radio show and TV show, he has also written three best-selling books. In 2002, he dedicated his first book Let Freedom Ring: Winning the War of Liberty Over Liberalism to Jill Rhodes.
