Selena Gomez Is Reportedly Hanging Out With 'Hard Core Partiers' After Most Recent Rehab Stint

Selena Gomez just got out of treatment after allegedly suffering a mental breakdown, and she is still in therapy. And, according to insiders, the recent pics that have surfaced of the singer looking happy and healthy may be a bit deceiving.

“Selena just got out of treatment, and she’s already playing with fire,” a source recently told Life & Style magazine. “Some of the people she’s hanging out with are hard-core partiers. She needs a solid support system by her side, not a party posse. This is a crucial time for her.”

Back in October, the It Ain’t Me singer reportedly checked herself into a treatment center, and now that she is home, she is attending therapy regularly to help keep herself on track. Insiders say that when Gomez’s longtime on-again, off-again boyfriend Justin Bieber married Hailey Baldwin, it crushed her. But she told everyone that she was OK.

Gomez ended up in the hospital two separate times in October, and both times it was because of a low white blood cell count, which is a common side effect for kidney transplant patients. As fans know, Gomez received a kidney last year because of her battle with lupus.

During her second visit to the hospital, Gomez suffered a panic attack and that’s what led her to enter treatment. A source said at the time that the panic attack was the tipping point for Gomez after she had a tough few weeks.

The singer decided to undergo dialectical behavior therapy, which is designed to identify and change negative thinking and behavior.

Gomez and her friends are regulars in the party scene, but the insider says that the singer did learn coping tools in treatment. She has moved out of Hollywood, took a break from social media, and just wants to be a “normal 26-year-old.”

In addition to partying, Gomez is also spending time with her friends during the daylight hours. Cameras caught Gomez and a friend having lunch in Los Angeles earlier this week, and the two hugged goodbye after the meal.

The singer kept things casual by wearing a cream sweater, frayed jeans, and black loafers.

Selena Gomez does look amazing after finishing her treatment and she did relax last month during a snowy vacation in Big Bear, California. Her friends Connar Franklin and Bailee Madison posted a bunch of pics from the trip, and Gomez appeared to be healthy and happy.
