Shailene Woodley Breaks Her Silence On Her Aaron Rodgers Engagement!

After Aaron Rodgers just unexpectedly mentioned that he is engaged now, Shailene Woodley also finally confirmed that they are indeed getting married, while a guest on Jimmy Fallon! Check out what she had to say!

According to the actress, the NFL star proposed ‘a while ago’ despite the public only learning about their ‘long-distance’ relationship a couple of days before Aaron dropped the big news, nonchalantly!

Obviously, she said yes and they are now to be married!

Woodley told the host that ‘Yes, we are engaged. But for us, it is not ‘new’ news. So it is kind of funny. Everyone right now is freaking out over it and we are like, ‘Yeah, we have been engaged for a while.”

She went on to rave about her fiance, before also throwing a little bit of shade at his career.

‘He’s, first off, a wonderful, incredible human being. But I never thought I would be engaged to someone who threw balls for a living. I never thought as a little girl, like, ‘Yeah, when I grow up, I am going to marry somebody who throws balls! Yeah!’ But he is really just so good at it,’ she said, playfully.

Shailene made it clear that she is not a sports fan by even admitting that she is yet to go see a football game, despite being engaged to a football player!

Of course, that was mainly because of the pandemic during which there were no games so she is sure to show him support on the stadium in the future!

What truly won her heart, however, was how Aaron earned the affection of her dog, pretty much instantly!

She recalled that ‘When I first met him, I think that my dog pulled me aside and was like, ‘If you do not date this dude, I’ll disown you as my mother, because the 3 feet that I run with you when you throw a ball is nothing compared to the marathon I am able to run with him.” Aww….
