Shanna Moakler Stirs Controversy; Sells Ex Travis Barkers Engagement Ring A Mere Week After He Marries Kourtney Kardashians

Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker held an unbelievably lavish wedding ceremony in Portofino, Italy consisting of multiple events catching the eyes of fans around the world but while the event attracted much attention, many in the media industry are focused on Travis Barker’s ex, Shanna Moakley to gauge her reaction. And reactions came indeed.
Just a week after the grand wedding, Shanna Moakler sold the engagement ring that Travis had given her. Moakler sold the ring via Auction on Worthy.com on the 27th of May. The ring went out for a whopping $96,500 however this wasn’t the price tag the Moakler was expecting. In an interview, Moakler revealed that she had hoped that the ring would sell somewhere between $100,000 to $200,000 since the ring had originally cost around $160,000.
When questioned about why she specifically chose this time to sell the ring, Moakler assured people that the timing of the auction being so close to Travis’s wedding was purely, “Coincidental.” Moakler said that she was merely looking for the right medium to sell the ring through and she trust Worthy.com for it.
Moakler commented that her relationship with ex Travis was a stable one and the two were cooperating with each other just fine and she is happy with the state of things as they are. Moakler commented with only a hint of sadness that no one ever expects that a happy marriage would and to let go of valued sentimental objects is not something anyone hopes for.
Moakler and Travis were married for 4 years from 2004 to 2008. They share 2 children; A son named Landon who is 18 years of age and a daughter named Alabama who is 16 years of age. Moakler says that she is focusing on her self and her relationship with on and of boyfriend Mathew Rondeau.
Meanwhile, Travis Barker and Kourtney Kardashian kept the celebration going for 3 days in Portofino with a selective guest list of close family and friends while the congratulations poured in from all directions for the newly wed couple. Barker has not made any comments on the selling of his engagement ring yet.
