Real Housewives of Orange County star Shannon Beador’s divorce drama is finally over. After battling with her husband David in court for a year-and-a-half, the former couple has reached a settlement and finalized their split.
Shannon and David presented their agreement to a judge last Wednesday after three days of intense negotiations, and at the time they kept the details private. But it didn’t take long for the court documents to go public.

According to The Blast, the monthly spousal and child supports David had been making to Shannon were cut by more than half. David was paying his ex $22,500 a month, but the former couple agreed to lower the payments to a total of $10,000 – $7.065 in spousal support and $2,035 in child support.
The child support will continue until their three daughters – Sophie, 17, Stella, 14, and Adeline, 14 – all reach the age of 18. And, the spousal support will continue until May 2029.
On top of the monthly support, Shannon is also getting a $1.4 million payout from David to “equalize the division of community property.” The RHOC star will also keep her 2015 Cadillac Escalade, a leased BMW Series 7 sedan, her bank accounts, and her furniture. David got to keep his construction company, a property near Corona, California, and multiple vehicles.
David and Shannon also agreed to joint legal and physical custody of their daughters, and they both will remain in Orange County. There were also stipulations in the settlement about how they can act in front of their kids.
“The parties shall cooperate to promote healthy parent-child relationships between each party and each of the children, and neither party shall make derogatory remarks about the other in the presence of the children,” the documents stated.

Shannon and David split in October 2017 after 17 years of marriage. According to the divorce documents, the agreement goes into effect on July 1, 2019, and at that time they will get their single status restored.
Neither Shannon nor David have spoken publicly about the settlement, but an insider says that Shannon is “relieved” to have all of this finally behind her.
Season 14 of Real Housewives of Orange County will premiere this July on Bravo.
