Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello continue to spark dating rumors, despite the ‘Stitches’ crooner exclaiming on Saturday the two are not dating. They spent the entire holiday weekend getting cozy, and their actions did not go unnoticed by social media.

One day after telling a fan during a Q&A in Los Angeles he was not an item with Cabello, the two were spotted walking out of brunch holding hands. Elle magazine is reporting that he even pulled her in for a warm embrace, as they were leaving the restaurant. At one point, she was leaning back against him while he put his arms around her waist. All moves are signature couple moves, not friendship.

Their latest display of public affection is one in a long line of moments over the holiday weekend indicating there is more than friendship happening between the two singers. They spent July 4th getting cozy together on the side of a pool. Their intimate nature was more than a simple friend vibe.

On Friday, she was caught backstage at Mendes’ Los Angeles concert, which is very much the act of a supportive girlfriend. Cabello even added fuel to the fire by gushing over the hunky singer during his show in a couple of Instagram stories.

“@shawnmendes you couldn’t be more amazing. Wow,” she shared.

Hours after Mendes claimed there was nothing romantic going on between him and his ‘Senorita’ collaborator one fan spotted the twosome getting cozy in bar-like setting at almost 5 am. The video shows Mendes with his arm around Cabello and she is resting her head on his shoulder.

Camila Cabello and Shawn Mendes are doing a terrible job of shutting down those pesky dating rumors. Despite his stating, they are not an item the duo spent the weekend acting a lot more like a couple than just two pals hanging out.

If they are dating but trying to keep the new romance a secret, then they should dial back the PDA. Fans are not buying the “just friends” line anymore. Even the closest of friends don’t show as much love and affection as Cabello and Mendes did over the weekend.
