Shawn Mendes Says He's Even Met Camila Cabello's Parents Amid Speculations Their Romance Is Just A Publicity Stunt

Even though there are rumors going around that the singer couple is nothing more than a publicity stunt, Shawn Mendes insists his relationship with Camila Cabello is as serious as it can be!

In fact, the star mentioned during a new interview that he’s even met her parents!

Shawn stated that he’s actually known them for a while now.

While at LAX, TMZ caught up with Mendes and he was asked if they were really pretending to date to get attention for their collab song Senorita.

‘It’s not a publicity stunt,’ Shawn denied.

The next question was about meeting Camila’s parents for some reason and he informed the outlet that he’s ‘known them for a long time. Yeah man.’

The singer added that he gets along really well with them so they would definitely get their blessing if he and Camila decided to tie the knot.

But do they say ‘I love you’ to one another at this stage in their relationship or not?

Hearing this, Shawn remained quiet. As he made his way through the airport, guitar in hand, Shawn decided to end the public interview with a simple: ‘Alright brother, have a good one.’

Shawn and Camila have been caught in each other’s company a lot lately.

In fact, the same day of the impromptu interview for TMZ, the musical couple was caught holding hands as they exited a gift store named Aahs, in West Hollywood.

They were wearing masks; Shawn a scary baby one and Camila a unicorn head.

As the cameras were flashing, Camila even found the time to show off her playful look, posing for the paparazzi.
