Shay Mitchell is expecting and she couldn’t be any happier, especially since she suffered a miscarriage before! The actress took to social media to announce her pregnancy yesterday, posting an amazing video and pic.

While topless, the star put her baby bump on display and jokingly asked: ‘Does this mean I’m allowed to drive in the carpool lane at all times now?’

And that was not all! Shay was happy to also share the news on YouTube as well!

The video she posted on her channel has the following description: ‘There is something in the oven and it’s not my pizza!!! WOW… It’s kind of surreal processing the fact that another human is growing inside of you. It’s exciting, nerve-racking, difficult and emotional all at the same time. Everyone waits for the right time to make the announcement and for me it wasn’t until I couldn’t hide it anymore and was tired of wearing oversized sweatshirts.’

‘We’re beyond excited and looking forward to starting a family. I’ve learned so much about myself and parenthood over the past 6 months, and feel like I haven’t even scratched the surface! It’s going to be a wild ride!!’

As for the vid in itself, it was very open and personal in every way.

She mentioned that since she is a public person, there are things that she feels like keeping under wraps for a while longer – until ready to reveal!

She goes on to show how she shared the great news with her close friends and also some of her daily life as well as pregnancy trials and tribulations.

The actress admitted that it was difficult to hide the pregnancy for months and it felt lonely to have this secret but now, she can finally get candid and celebrate with all of her fans!
