Shay Mitchell Says She's Very Excited For Her First Mother's Day Since Welcoming Daughter Atlas!

Shay Mitchell is new to motherhood and all that it entails so she can’t help but be very excited about her very first Mother’s Day as a parent herself! As you may know, the actress gave birth to her daughter about 7 months ago and the celeb shared during a new interview that she would not be opposed to getting ‘spoiled’ during the holiday tomorrow, although there is something even more important, according to her.

Another thing that she does not mind is spending her first Mother’s Day as a mom while in quarantine!

Shay is rather happy that she can, at least, spend the special day with her bundle of joy, daughter Atlas, and some immediate family members, including her man, Matte Babel!

The 33 year old actress stressed that having these people close is the most important for her.

During her chat with HollywoodLife, Michelle told the news outlet that ‘I think it is totally fine [being in quarantine on Mother’s Day], we’ll still get to do the most important thing, which is spending time with each other. We do not have much planned. We’ll probably just make delicious food and hang out. I would not turn down being a little spoiled for the day though.’

At the time of the interview, Shay was promoting her partnership with Pampers and the Share the Love campaign.

The star explained that the campaign is meant to show mothers a bit of gratitude for everything that they do.

‘Moms play an extraordinary role in their families’ lives and sometimes the greatest gift of all is only receiving recognition and a ‘thank you’ for all of the hard work, and that is what this campaign is all about. Parenting’s a learning curve, a constant exercise in the loss of control, and it is important that all women who are also mothers feel supported by their community,’ she explained.
