Simu Liu, the 30-year-old MCU alum, recently shouted out to the legendary actress, Sharon Stone, on his social media claims a new report from Just Jared. Reportedly, Sharon Stone complained of her banning from Bumble earlier this week, the dating application where women are encouraged to message first.
The 61-year-old wrote on her Twitter that people had complained about her account, thinking there was no way the account was real. “Don’t shut me out of the hive!” the actress demanded. In response to her message, Simu noted he didn’t have a Bumble account but had to ask: “what are you doing like six months from now?”
At the moment, it’s not known why Simu has to wait for half-a-year to speak with Stone, but he could be busy working on a new Marvel movie. After he publicly declared his interest for the actress, fans of his praised him for being so bold.
Earlier this year, Sharon Stone was in the headlines for a more serious reason, a lawsuit with the rapper, Chanel West Coast. Reported first by Page Six, the outlet claims Sharon’s legal team went after the Ridiculousness star for using her name and brand in a song called, “Sharon Stoned.”

Sharon’s legal representatives filed official court documents in a Los Angeles federal court earlier this year, hoping to stop the release and dissemination of the song and its video.
According to the court docs, Sharon’s team was concerned that Chanel West Coast used the actress’ name repetitively and in a gratuitous fashion not only in its title but also in the lyrics. Sharon’s attorney added that Chanel used her name, in total, over a hundred times.
Additionally, Chanel purportedly used Sharon’s identity and persona in the music video, including her image, identity, etc. Among the other transgressions include Chanel’s financial exploitation of the actress through the sale of marijuana products and other merchandise using Sharon’s brand.
Sharon’s perhaps most famous movie role, Basic Instinct, featured the culturally iconic scene in which Sharon uncrosses her legs to reveal her genitalia, a scene alluded to in the video. Sharon and her team argued that she pursued total control of her identity in the public, and will continue to fight for it.
