After years of infidelity rumors and most recently, a brand new baby, Kevin Hunter was finally given the boot from Wendy’s circle. The unfaithful man was not only her husband of two decades but he also served as executive producer of her show which made the decision to file for divorce even harder than it already was.

Nonetheless, Williams made the brave decision to split from her estranged husband and fire him as EP. She is picking up the pieces of her life and making a whole new creation from it.

Wendy is under new management and reconnecting with old friends she wasn’t allowed to talk to while allegedly being controlled by Hunter.

Sources close to the 54-year-old told US Weekly: “Wendy is not looking back. Her friends and family think that the sky’s the limit now that Kevin’s gone. She still has some healing to do, but she has taken several steps in the right direction. She is strong and resilient.”

As for Kevin, he is dealing with the karma that he deserves. Hunter recently moved out of the house that he shared with Wendy and is out of a job.

After denying the rumors that were floating about their marriage being in shambles, Kevin finally admitted in a public apology that he was in the wrong.

“I am not proud of my recent actions and take full accountability and apologize to my wife, my family and her amazing fans. I am going through a time of self-reflection and am trying to right some wrongs,” Hunter said in a statement to people.

He continued: “28 years ago I met an amazing woman: Wendy Williams. At the time, I didn’t realize that she would not only become my wife, but would also change the face of entertainment and the world. I have dedicated most of our lives to the business empire that is Wendy Williams Hunter, a person that I truly love and respect unconditionally. No matter what the outcome is or what the future holds, we are still The Hunter Family and I will continue to work with and fully support my wife in this business and through any and all obstacles she may face living her new life of sobriety, while I also work on mine.”
