Skylar Astin Spotted Ringless Just Days After Anna Camp Filed For Divorce

Last week, Pitch Perfect star Anna Camp announced that she and Skylar Astin were separating after two years of marriage, and then hours later she filed for divorce. At the same time, Astin was spotted without his silver wedding band.

On Friday, April 19th, Camp filed for divorce while Astin posted a pic on Instagram of himself with Emmy-winning Crazy Ex-Girlfriend choreographer Kat Burns. In the photo, Astin and Burns were smiling at each other and his left ring finger was noticeably bare.

The two had just gone to the movies to see the documentary Amazing Grace, which features the late Aretha Franklin with the Los Angeles New Bethel Baptist Choir.

“Doing “Kat Burns Hands” with @katmburns after seeing @amazinggracemov,” Astin wrote in the caption.

Camp cited “irreconcilable differences” in her divorce filing and listed the date of separation as “TBD.” She asked the court to award no spousal support to her or Astin, and she also requested that they each pay their own legal fees.

In a joint statement to People Magazine, the Pitch Perfect co-stars said, “We can confirm that we have decided to separate, and this decision was made mutually and amicably. We kindly ask for privacy as we navigate this transition.”

Camp and Astin met in 2012 on the set of Pitch Perfect and started dating in June 2013 after she divorced her first husband, Scrubs star Michael Mosley. They tied the knot in October 2016 in an outdoor ceremony on California’s central coast. The exes do not have any children.

An insider says that since ditching his wedding ring, Astin has started talking to his friends about the split, and both Astin and Camp have unfollowed each other on social media. The last pic Skylar Astin posted of himself with Camp was back in January when they were cuddled up together while celebrating New Year’s.

A few weeks later, Camp posted a series of photos that featured the couple dancing together. The last time they were spotted together in public was in October when they attended Mickey’s 90th Spectacular.

Anna Camp appears to be staying positive in the wake of the split. After announcing her divorce, she posted a screenshot of Alicia Keys’ song Brand New Me.
