Snoop Dogg released some footage of a recent studio session over the weekend, and when fans saw that he was collaborating with Kanye West, Snoop started trending on Twitter and some started accusing the West Coast rapper of being a “hypocrite.”

Snoop has been a vocal critic of President Donald Trump, and he even revealed recently that he would be voting for the first time this November to try to get him out of office. He has also accused West of being “brainwashed” by Trump, so fans are wondering why he would work with someone who he doesn’t agree with politically.

In the clip, Snoop and West are working with producer Dr. Dre, but no one seemed to have a problem with Dre and West working together. However, many criticized Snoop because he has called out Ye in the past for his support of the POTUS.

“F–k snoop dogg. He’s the biggest hypocrite,” wrote one disappointed fan. “He was talking all bad about Kanye when he was wearing MAGA hats now he’s in the Stu with him? Lame as hell.”

Another angered fan wrote that “Uncle Snoop izza Hypocrite” because he is “going against his words now.” They added that they thought Snoop hated West. One critic called Snoop a “clown” because he was “in the studio looking like a groupie” after “talking hella sh*t about Kanye.”

In the past, Snoop has criticized not just West, but anyone who supported President Trump. While speaking with Sirius XM’s DJ Suss One in 2018, Snoop had some harsh words for MAGA supporters.

“If you like that n–a [Trump], you’re motherf–king racist. F–k you and f–k him…Kanye too, n–a, don’t forget about him too, f–k you too! Throw him in the bag ‘cuz he right with them motherf–kers,” said Snoop.

However, in another interview with 97.9 The Box, the Drop It Like It’s Hot rapper said he didn’t hate West, but he thought that the Jesus Walks rapper was being “brainwashed” and “used.”

Snoop Dogg explained that he wasn’t mad at Kanye West. Instead, he is mad at the system for using him, and West not having the smart people around him to see that.
