Southern Charm Star Kathryn Dennis Fires Back At Thomas Ravenel! What About Your Drug Use?

The custody battle between Southern Charm star Kathryn Dennis and the father of her two children, Thomas Ravenel, is getting nastier by the day. According to new court documents, Dennis is now requesting that Ravenel answer questions under oath about his alleged drug use.

The 27-year-old had already accused Ravenel of abusing drugs back in October, claiming that he “has drunk alcohol to excess, mixed with prescription drugs.” Dennis also claimed that Ravenel had mixed drugs and alcohol during times when he had custody of their kids, Kensie, 4, and Saint, 3.

Us Weekly reports that in the latest court documents, Dennis also wants Ravenel to show the receipts after he alleged in an early January filing that Dennis had bought drugs from Southern Charm producers and friends.

“[Dennis] abuses prescription drugs, is engaged in the use of illegal drugs, and consumes alcohol in combination thereof regularly,” Ravenel claimed. “[She] has been intoxicated by the abuse of prescription drugs and/or use of illegal drugs while in sole care.”

Dennis fired back again, claiming that Ravenel had a party where drugs were present, and he told his party guests that mushrooms don’t show up on drug tests.

Ravenel and Dennis split in 2016. And early last year, they agreed on joint custody after Dennis completed treatment and passed multiple drug tests. But, after police arrested Ravenel in September for sexual assault charges – and Bravo fired him from Southern Charm – Dennis filed for primary custody. And, things turned nasty, quick.

In addition to allegations of drug abuse on both sides, Dennis also wants to know how many private investigators Ravenel has hired in regards to her and their children, and she is also curious about Ravenel’s mental health. She asked for a list of all his physical and mental health diagnoses in the past decade because she wants to know if doctors have evaluated him for bipolar disorder.

She also wants to know more about the prescription drugs he has purchased in the last six years. Dennis wants Ravenel to provide the court with a list of the women who have accused him of sexual assault, whether or not he paid off Debbie or Ashley Perkins, and if he discussed marriage with Ashley Jacobs.

In response, Ravenel filed a demand for a protective order and refused to turn over the requested documents. He claims that Kathryn Dennis is trying to “annoy, embarrass, oppress, or create an unburden” on him.

Season 6 of Southern Charm will premiere on Bravo later this year.
