In the upcoming second part of the Southern Charm reunion, Austen Kroll and Madison LeCroy’s relationship will come under a microscope. From their love-hate relationship to their multiple betrayals — Andy Cohen isn’t going to hold back.
In the preview for the dramatic sit-down, it seems like they are friends with benefits since they’ve pumped the breaks on being official again. Most of the cast is in agreement that the two are toxic for each other but they just can’t seem to stay away.
Madison opened up to US Weekly about what the status of their situationship is now and what it is that attracts her to the aspiring businessman.
‘Austen and I’s relationship is complicated, obviously. He has said that multiple times. I think right now he’s focusing on his beer, which is so great. I’m not trying to be in any way … a distraction. I don’t want to say that we wouldn’t revisit this, because we do feel a type of way about each other. We haven’t had any benefits lately so I would say we are friends right now.’
As far as why she can’t seem to leave him alone, LeCroy gushes that: ‘I love the fact that he has dimples. That’s obviously one of the first things I see. I like how tall he is. I love his personality. He just makes you feel very welcome, you know? It’s just easy, I guess.’
Shep Rose and Craig Conover have insisted that Madison is not only his downfall, but she also has tried to alienate him from his friend group — something that she blatantly denies.
‘Austen’s a grown man. He can make that decision on his own. I do tell him that you end up being influenced by the top five people that you hang out with, or even betrayed is the same kind of vibe that they’re giving off. I tell him now, I’m like, ‘Now that you’re a business man, let’s act like it.’
Do you think Madison and Austen are a good pairing?
