During a new episode of the Tamron Hall Show this Wednesday, Tamar Braxton, from Braxton Family Values, revealed she has thought about killing herself more than once. Page Six picked up on the episode this week in which Tamar got very honest about her mental health struggles over the last few years.

The 43-year-old addressed her attempted suicide in July after she was found unresponsive in her hotel room in LA. In a clip obtained by Page Six, the 43-year-old reality star claimed there was a time when she has wanted to end her life before.

However, her attempt to take her own life in July was the first time she had ever actually tried. According to Braxton, there have been a lot of tough times throughout her life, and she was diagnosed with depression and anxiety related to her career.

Braxton went on to say that she was “not medicated” but she’s in counseling on a regular basis. Amid the same interview, Hall goes on to ask Braxton if the reports surrounding her prescription drug overdose were real.

Braxton declined to answer the question because she said she wasn’t trying to give her fans any ideas. As it was previously reported, Braxton was taken to a different hospital after it was determined that she needed more evaluation and therapy.

While Braxton refused to say if she had taken too many prescription drugs to kill herself, the reality star did say it was easily the “lower point” of her life. As it was previously reported, Braxton’s mental health crisis was allegedly related to her fallout from WeTV.

Braxton is no longer a cast member of Braxton Family Values, especially after Tamar had discovered they allegedly used her attempted suicide attempt in a new commercial for the series.

Tamar isn’t the only reality star to complain about television networks. NeNe Leakes, the Real Housewives of Atlanta mainstay, released cryptic tweets in which she accused BravoTV of similar forms of exploitative behavior. NeNe has since stepped back from the series and has moved on to other projects.
