In her latest video, Tamar was introduced to what is called palm wine. While at a restaurant, the diva watched David enjoy the local delicacy and attempted to take a sip only to call out Jesus after being surprised by the taste.

Tamar said this about the drink: “This made me drunk. And it was nasty 🤢 😩😂😂😂Having my 2 best friends by my side was even more intoxicating. Nigeria was the BEST thing that has happened to me.🎯”

A fan asked more details she responded with this: “Nasty as$ palm wine.”

One follower asked: “I’d like to know why exactly they call it Palm wine I asked because I’m Puerto Rican and I do know of the coconut tree we would pick the coconuts off the palm trees then we would cut a hole in the coconut and drink it just like that like coconut water or milk is it something added to it to make it.”

One expert broke down the process of how palm wine is made: “No it not gross. It’s not a coconut tree…it’s a Palm tree…its where the red oil is derived from…so they tap the sap of the palm tree..they bruise it till the sticky sap drips out, and they put a bowl to collect it…way up in the tree. It is not the coconut tree. This is different. It only looks like the coconut water, but this is gotten from a tree and is milky and sweet but when fermented, becomes alcoholic. It’s a type of tree called palm tree grown in the thick forest in some parts of Nigeria. My dear, it’s a delicacy.”

The backer shared: “It actually beautiful and tasted good but will make you high. Omg, I love them together! I think it’s sweet that he shows her his culture. 🤗🤗. It is delicious. An acquired taste. Especially when it is fresh and chilled. 😜😍you a certified Nigerian now for drinking that Tamar😂🇳🇬🇳🇬🇳🇬.”

A fourth person shared: “Love & War was distracting me the whole time he was talking. Palm wine is amazing 🙄 I’ve been drinking it since I was like eight hahaha .and its cultural significance is the best ❤️🇳🇬 it’s a delicacy in Nigeria. Don’t speak for the rest of us. Remember everyone has different taste buds 😏Yes you have been living your best life there 🙌🏽💜 so sweet and, your energy looks refreshed.”
