Tati Westbrook Takes YouTube Break Following James Charles Feud Drama

YouTube beauty guru Tati Westbrook is taking a break following her feud with fellow YouTube make-up mogul, James Charles.

It has only been three days since the drama began, but it is taking a toll on Westbrook. She shared in a Twitter message to fans, that her usual Monday YouTube post would not be happening.

Westbrook also used the message to remind her followers not to hate.

“I feel like I need to remind you that we can hold truth & inspire change without grabbing onto hate. Honor your blessings, don’t abuse them. Celebrating pain will only bring it to your door. love you guys, see you soon,” she shared.

On Friday, Westbrook posted a video, Bye Sister, calling out Charles for not being supportive, spreading lies about her, as well as slammed him for taking aim at other beauty influences and harassing men.

Her video endured her an outpour of support from her fans, while also causing a significant backlash for Charles. His subscriber number has gone down by 3 million, while hers has risen exponentially over the weekend.

Westbrook posts her beauty videos three days a week, with Monday being a consistent post. She did not indicate how long she was going to be taking a break from creating new content, but her fans were nothing but supportive.

The feud between James Charles and Tati Westbrook has caused her to take a break from YouTube for a little while. Their friendship has come to an end, but it is more than just losing a friend that is getting to the beauty influencer. The amount of hate spewed because of the feud has taken on a toll on Westbrook.

She is one of the original beauty influencers, and Westbrook took Charles under her wing years ago helping him get his start. Their feud is one of the most hyped in YouTube history pitting two high-profile influencers against each other.
