Taylor Swift Drags All Her Hates During iHeartRadio Speech

The singer received one of the biggest awards at the 2019 iHeartRadio Music Awards and, as she took the stage, Taylor Swift made sure to deliver a very empowering speech that was meant to completely shot down her haters while praising her fans and showing them a lot of gratitude.

It is no secret that Taylor’s talent and success are often recognized through such prizes but this one is very special.

That being said, she was honored with the Tour of the Year Award for all of her ‘Reputation’ tour achievements.

As she went to receive the trophy, Taylor told the audience: ‘One of the most wonderful things about the way that this tour turned out is that, for the entire 6 months leading up to the first show of this tour, every headline I read was, this is going to be a massive failure. And it really did wonders for my self esteem. It was great to hear people saying I was going to be playing to nearly empty stadiums.’

The superstar added that she had managed to learn a lot: ‘One of the things I’ve learned is that life is really unpredictable and people can make forecasts and predictions, but those predictions and forecasts may not come true if there’s an unforeseeable factor involved, and that unforeseeable factor, in this case, was my fans.’

Undoubtedly making her loyal supporters tear up, Taylor gave them credit for all of her success, saying she owed everything in her life to them! How incredibly sweet!

Finally, she assured her fans that they would be the first ones to find out when she drops a new album!
